9月9日下午，威尼斯建筑大学研究员、米兰设计周“设计共和国”设计组织创始人戴维德·克里帕、山东省文化创意设计行业协会会长孙美华一行到山东工艺美术学院访问。院长董占军、副院长韩文涛会见来宾并座谈交流。

　　On the afternoon of September 9, Davide Crippa, a researcher at the University of Architecture in Venice and the founder of the “Design Republic“ design organization of the Milan Design Week, and Sun Meihua, president of the Shandong Cultural and Creative Design Industry Association, and their party visited Shandong University of Art & Design. Dong Zhanjun, the dean, and Han Wentao, the vice dean, met with the guests and had discussions and exchanges.

　　董占军向来宾介绍了山东工艺美术学院的专业特色和山东的历史文化。他表示，非常期待与威尼斯建筑大学及米兰设计周相关组织进行深入交流，并希望各方能够基于各自的文化传统和特色，共同推动中意文化交流与合作。

　　Dong Zhanjun introduced the professional characteristics of Shandong University of Art & Design and the historical culture of Shandong to the guests. He said that he is very looking forward to in-depth exchanges with the University of Architecture in Venice and relevant organizations of the Milan Design Week, and hopes that all parties can jointly promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Italy based on their respective cultural traditions and characteristics.

　　戴维德·克里帕高度评价了山东工艺美术学院在传统手工艺保护、传承和创新性发展方面所进行的系列举措，并对山东工艺美术学院在设计教育领域取得的成绩表示祝贺。他代表米兰设计周“设计共和国”设计组织希望与山东工艺美术学院以促进中意文化交流为目标，通过帮助全体师生参与米兰设计周等方式，积极推进双方深度合作。

　　Davide Crippa spoke highly of a series of measures taken by Shandong University of Art & Design in the protection, inheritance and innovative development of traditional handicrafts, and congratulated Shandong University of Art & Design on its achievements in the field of design education. On behalf of the “Design Republic“ design organization of the Milan Design Week, he hopes to take promoting cultural exchanges between China and Italy as the goal and actively promote in-depth cooperation between the two sides by helping all teachers and students participate in the Milan Design Week and other ways.

　　来访期间，戴维德·克里帕、米兰设计周“设计共和国”设计组织大使仲伟成为全校师生带来了一场主题为《从可持续性到责任：当代设计的不同愿景》的讲座，分享了如何从跨学科的角度进行垃圾回收和重新利用，探讨了如何通过循环思维和创新设计解决当今社会所面临的多重挑战，以及如何构建一个可持续发展的未来。

　　During the visit, Davide Crippa and Zhong Weicheng, the ambassador of the “Design Republic“ design organization of the Milan Design Week, brought a lecture titled “From Sustainability to Responsibility: Different Visions of Contemporary Design“ to all teachers and students. They shared how to recycle and reuse garbage from an interdisciplinary perspective, discussed how to solve multiple challenges faced by today's society through circular thinking and innovative design, and how to build a sustainable future.
