In the long river of time, intangible cultural heritage is like a brilliant pearl, carrying the memory and wisdom of the nation. On October 8, 2024, in the Drum yangko dance Exhibition Hall of Yanghu Township, Yangxin County, Binzhou City, a unique cultural exchange event was launched in the form of an online conference.
The event was organized by the Propaganda Department of the Yangxin County Committee, aiming to introduce the unique and charming intangible cultural heritage of Yangxin County—— the Drum yangko dance, to students from Korea Aerospace University.
Piao Caolin, Jin Huili, Jin Youzhen, Wu Heying, Zhao Duobin and other students from Korea Aviation University, as well as Cai Yingmei, an assistant teacher from Hight Tect High School in Goyang City, attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, the staff of the Drum yangko dance Exhibition Hall led the students from South Korea through the camera to enter the historical and cultural corridor of Drum yangko dance.
The precious exhibits displayed in the exhibition hall, such as historical materials that record the development timeline of Drum yangko dance in detail, props full of historical charm, colorful costumes, lifelike dough figurines, and battle maps drawn by old artists, seem to tell ancient and touching stories.
Next, the staff introduced the characteristics of the movements during the performance of the Drum yangko dance. The students from Korea Aviation University were deeply attracted by this colorful exhibition and expressed great interest. They actively asked questions and interacted with the staff.
